About

Manak Sidh, one of the four revered Siddh Peeth of Dehradun, is situated in Buddhi Gaon. Dedicated to Baba Manak, one of the 84 disciples of Sage Dattatreya, this temple is just 12 km from Dehradun ISBT. Legend has it that the Baba Manak performed a great penance here to please Lord Shiva and thus the temple was named after him. Nestled amidst dense forest, it offers a mesmerizing view of nature, attracting devotees and nature lovers.

It is a common belief that visiting all four Siddh Peeth Kalu Siddh, Mandu Siddh, Laxman Siddh, and Manak Siddh, in a single day while fasting fulfills one's wishes. Villagers offer grains and milk in the temple for success and harmony. A multitude of devotees often visit the temple on Sundays and Mondays. Along with Baba Manak, the temple houses idols of deities Narsingh, Bhairav, Lord Shiva and others. A feast or bhandara is conducted by the devotees, which is attended by a large number of people.
