Robbers cave, commonly known as Gucchu Paani is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This natural cave is formed by a river flowing through it and is a hotspot among the locals and tourists, which is surrounded by picturesque landscapes. Due to its geological formation and water flowing through a narrow gorge, it creates a fascinating sight. It is believed that during the 1800s, this cave was used by robbers to stash their stolen goods and as a hideout, which is why this cave is known as Robber’s Cave. However, today this place is popular among the tourists and a must visit destination for nature and adventure lovers. Visitors have to wade through the shallow water to reach the end of the cave, providing a unique experience. The length of the cave is approximately 600 meters, where visitors may find a few natural waterfalls, one of which is 12 meters tall.
