Mandu Siddh Temple

One of the four revered Siddh Peeth of Dehradun Mandu Siddh Temple is located in the outskirts of Dehradun. Dedicated to Sage Dattatreya disciples, Baba Mandu, this temple is just 16 km away from Dehradun ISBT. Locals and others highly regarded this temple and have a strong belief that offering prayer in all four Sidh Peeth including Manak Sidh, Laxman Sidh, and Kalu Sidh in a single day while fasting may fulfill everyone's wishes.

Legend says that Baba Mandu meditated here and after attaining enlightenment he left his body. Temple courtyard also houses a self manifested Shivling. During special occasions like Shivratri, a multitude of devotees visit the temple to offer water. Situated in the midst of dense forest and between nun and Nimi river, this place is an ideal place for nature lovers too. Every year, a fair is organized by the temple committee on the occasion of Basant Panchami, which usually falls in the month of February.
