By Road : - Located around 24 km from Dehradun ISBT and 17 km from the iconic Clock Tower. Buses, taxis and app based cab services are readily available from ISBT, the railway station and Parade Ground. Two Wheeler rental facility is also easily accessible from the major locations.
 

By Rail : - The nearest railway station is Dehradun which is situated around 19 km away. City Buses and taxis provide convenient transportation options.
 

By Air : - The nearest airport is in Jolly Grant Airport, which is around 34 km away. Apart from other available option taxis being the most convenient option to access the spot.

As the site is known for its water pools, the ideal time to visit Sahastradhara is during the summers. Avoid weekends during summer vacations as the place is overcrowded, particularly during this time. However, the place is open throughout the year, so it is also advisable to avoid visiting during monsoon season.
