History of Sai Baba Mandir Dehradun
Dedicated to the devotees of Sai Baba, the temple was constructed way back on October 18, 1994. Shrine portal remains open for the devotees throughout the week. Like other Sai Baba temples, this temple too is governed and administered by the Sri Sai Baba Sansthan Devasthanam. People with strong beliefs often visit this temple to offer prayer and to seek Sai Baba blessings.
Religious Significance
Sai Baba Mandir is also known as Sai Dham, which holds cultural and religious significance. Along with Sai Baba, the temple courtyard houses idols of other deities, mainly Lord Shiva, Vishnu, Brahma, Ram Darbar, Lord Hanuman, Durga, and others. Temple is frequented by devotees daily, especially on Thursday, which is considered an auspicious day.
Every week, on Thursday and on Sundays, the temple committee organizes a bhandara 12 Noon onwards, which is attended by many worshippers and visitors. Devotees also donate money for Bhandara, renovation and for other activities to the temple committee.
Generally, the evenings are considered the busiest time, as most of the devotees gather to attend evening prayers. During prayers, the tolling bells sound with hymns creates a wonderful atmosphere.

Abhishek Pooja for Devotees
To fulfil their desire and wishes, Sai devotees can participate in Abhishek Pooja (Mangal Snan), which is held daily at 7 AM. Priest performed this puja on the idol of Sai with the help of Panchdhatu. Devotees who wish to participate must register either online from the temple website or offline by visiting the temple at least 7 days in advance by paying a Puja Registration Fee of Rs. 100/-. Either one or both husband and wife are allowed to participate against each registration fee. Participants do not need to bring any items required for the Pooja, as everything will be provided by the temple authorities.
Organize a Wedding
You can organize your wedding in the auspicious premises of Sai Baba. The temple committee recently started this service, providing couples the opportunity to tie knots while seeking blessings of Sai Baba.
