Jharipani is a quaint waterfall located in Barlow Ganj, Mussoorie. Situated just 9 km from Mussoorie Mall Road, this place is a true paradigm of tranquility. Surrounded by lush green forest, a beautiful stream cascades through the mountains, creating a thunderous sound. It is one of the offbeat locations, popular among adventure and nature enthusiasts. The cacophony of pristine white waterfall and the chirping of various birds creates a pleasant and soothing experience. The site offer good road connectivity except its fag end, and can be reached by two-wheelers and four wheeler.
 

During weekends, particularly in summer, the site captivates many looking to enjoy some secluded time with nature. On peak summer days, the site offers a pleasant temperature. The picturesque view of the surrounding and the waterfall easily captivates its visitors.
 

Jharipani Trekking

Visitors, especially trek enthusiasts, can access the site via a 6 km trail. Earlier, this trail route was used during the British era, whose reminiscence can be seen through a toll barrier board and colonial style resort. The trail starts from Shahanshahi Ashram, located (near to Shikhar Fall) in Kairwaan Gaon, Dehradun. Along the trail, visitors can enjoy the beautiful view of Doon Valley and spot various species of birds. It's exciting trail goes through villages, jungles, unpaved serpentine roads, colonial style structure and scenic landscapes.
