Lachhiwala

Lachhiwala, a popular picnic spot for all generations, is located near Dehradun, a city in the state of Uttarakhand. Situated on the banks of Song river, its lush green, serene beauty, peaceful ambiance make it a favourite destination for both locals and tourists. Man made freshwater pools are its centre of attractions. Visitors often come here during hot days to enjoy swimming in this pristine water. However, this area is surrounded by dense forest where you can enjoy birdwatching, nature walks and picnicking. Along with this, its nature culture centre, musical fountains, statue of mother earth, food court, nature shop, children activity area, garden, lawn, lakeside, and fountain makes it an ideal picnic place to enjoy with your friends and family. At night, visitors can also enjoy a laser light show. Park opens six days a week from 9 am to 5 pm, with an entry fee of Rs 50 per head. Whereas, on Monday the park remains closed for its maintenance.
