Kempty falls is one of the most plausible tourist destinations in Mussoorie. People enjoy bathing in its spine chilling cold water to get respite from the scorching summer heat. How to Reach

By Road : - Kempty falls is around 11 km from Mussoorie Library Chowk and is accessible via the road. However, to reach the actual site, visitors need to walk around 1 to 1.5 km distance on foot from the road or they can also take a ropeway to reach the falls. Buses and taxis are readily available from Mussoorie Library bus stand. Alternatively, visitors can also rent a two wheeler to enjoy the scenic route.
 

By Rail : - The nearest railway station is in Dehradun, around 50 km away. Direct buses to the Mussoorie bus stand are readily available from the Hill Bus stand located adjacent to the railway station. Additionally, taxis can also be hired to access the location directly.
 

By Air : - The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, approximately 72 km from Kempty Falls. From the airport, visitors can hire a taxi or use the recently introduced Dehradun-Mussoorie Helicopter service.

Best Time to Visit

Summers (March to June) are considered the best time to explore the site, when visitors can immerse and soak themselves in its cool water. However, during this time the place becomes overcrowded, making the place less enjoyable. Weekdays are considered a more peaceful time to enjoy the place.
