Manak Sidh, one of the four revered Siddh Peeth of Dehradun, is situated in Buddhi Gaon. Dedicated to Baba Manak, one of the 84 disciples of Sage Dattatreya, this temple is just 12 km from Dehradun ISBT. How to Reach
Located around 12 km from Dehradun ISBT, this temple is situated in Buddhi Gaon, Shimla Bypass road. It is connected well with the motorable road, and visitors can access this place by local transportation service such as vikram, magic, bus and e-rickshaw, which are readily available from the ISBT, Railway station, and other major locations. However such transport facilities are available up to Buddhi Chowk, and visitors need to cover a 2 km distance on foot. It is advisable to book an auto or cab to reach the temple. The nearest railway station and airport are located in Dehradun, situated around 17 km and 40 km respectively.
Best Time to Visit
Dehradun's ideal temperature is perfect to access the temple throughout the year. However, it is advisable to take necessary precautions during monsoon season. Also, one must take care of their belongings as the temple is surrounded by many monkeys, although it is covered with an iron mesh.
