Besides its peaceful ambience, the ghat is also known as one of the cleanest in Rishikesh. Unlike many other ghats, Sri Satya Sai Ghat is not very crowded, offering enough space for yoga and meditation enthusiasts. Additionally, visitors can attend the Ganga Arti, held in the evening.

Cleanest Ghat of Rishikesh

Sri Satya Sai Ghat is situated on the banks of the Ganga River, which is just opposite the Trayambakeshwar Temple. In the evening, the view of the temple from this ghat is truly remarkable. The ghat features statues of Goddess Ganga, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva, which enhances the spiritual atmosphere. The ghat also houses a Sri Satya Sai Temple, where devotees can offer their prayers. More often, this ghat is also used for the holy Ganga dip by visitors.

Sri Sathya Sai Ghaat is regarded as one of the cleanest ghats in Rishikesh, making this spot ideal for Yoga and Meditation practices. Many visitors can be seen performing spiritual practices, especially during the peaceful hours of the morning.

Ganga Aarti

At Sri Sathya Sai Ghaat, visitors can also enjoy the Ganga Arti, which is held daily except on Mondays. A group of priests performs the arti, which usually begins around 6:00 pm. However, to attend the aarti and to secure a perfect spot, people start gathering as early as 5 pm. As the sun sets, the view from the ghat becomes more magical. The Terah Manzil temple and Laxman Jhula, beautifully illuminated with many lights, create a surreal view that is beyond our imagination.
