About

Nestled on the foothills of Shivalik range, Rajaji National Park was established in 1983. Spreaded over 1075 square kilometres, this sprawling national park falls encompasses the area of Dehradun, Haridwar and Pauri Garhwal. Situated just 5 km away from Haridwar, this tiger reserve forest is widely regarded as the premier jungle safari, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse in the beauty of nature and observe wildlife up close.

During safari, visitors can catch glimpses of various species such as cheetah, elephant, bear, deer, cobra, leopard, nilgai, monitor lizard and others. Rajaji National Park was formed by amalgamation of three wildlife sanctuaries; Rajaji, Motichur, and Chilla, and it was named after the renowned freedom fighter C. Rajagopalachari. Situated on the banks of Ganga and Song rivers, this place is no less than heaven for the safari enthusiasts as well as wildlife photographers, whose panoramic view fascinates the tourists.

Divided into five safari zones, Chilla safari zone is considered the finest and safest zone for exploration, where tourists can enjoy an unforgettable safari experience in the midst of the enchanting wilderness of Rajaji National Park.
