Dhanaulti, a quaint hill station near Mussoorie, is well known for its Eco park. Many tourists and local visitors often visit this Eco park, especially on weekends. Spanning around 15 hectares, the Dhanaulti Eco Park is divided into two sections; Eco Park Dhara and Eco Park Amber, each with their own features. These two parks are just 200 meters apart and are easily accessible from Mussoorie, Dehradun, and Chamba. The early morning and late evening view of these parks are enchanting that makes you fall in love with them. The sun rays filtering through the pine trees creates a magical atmosphere.

The parks are situated around 33 km from Mussoorie Library Chowk and are well connected by road. Both are known for their scenic views, especially Amber Eco Park. While both parks are known for their splendid sunset, the sunset view point at Amber Eco Park is truly stunning. A small trail has been created in the parks, guiding visitors towards its scenic and sunset spots. These parks are equally popular among adults and kids, making them a perfect weekend getaway to spend time with friends and family.

Eco Park Dhara
Eco Park Dhara in Dhanaulti is located in the starting of Dhanaulti, on the left side of the road. It can be easily spotted, as various tourists can be seen in and around the area. Spreaded across 3.5 hectares, this park is mostly surrounded by towering pine trees, providing a peace and solitude environment.
Eco Park Amber
It is located just 200 meters away from the Dhara Eco Park and is also on the left side of the road. Parking facility is available outside the park and requires entry tickets to access. Unlike Dhara Eco park, it is larger in terms of area i.e. 12 hectares, also it tends to be less crowded.
Bird Paradise
Eco Park is also home to a variety of bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers. Mostly, the park is surrounded with various Himalayan birds. Some popular birds can be spotted here are the Monal, Yellow billed blue magpie, Black bulbul, White tail snow chat and others.

How to Reach
By Road : - Dhanaulti Eco Park is located around 30 km from Mussoorie Library Chowk and 55 km from Dehradun Clock Tower. It is situated on Dhanaulti-Chamba road and is easily accessible by car, bus, and two wheeler. Visitors can board Dehradun-Chamba or Mussoorie Chamba route buses from Dehradun hill bus stand and Mussoorie Bus Stand, respectively. Alternatively, taxis and rental two wheeler options are available from both Dehradun and Mussoorie.
By Rail : - Dehradun railway station is the nearest one, located around 56 km from the park. Visitors can hire a taxi, rent a two wheeler or board a Dehradun-Chamba route from the station. Dehradun station provides good connectivity with Delhi and other major rail heads.
By Air : - Jolly grant airport is the closest from the park, located around 94 km. Taxis are readily available from the airport to access the park. The airport offers direct and regular flights from Delhi and other major cities.
Best Time to Visit
The park is open round the year, but the ideal time to visit is between September and May.
