About

Bhairav Ghat is one of the ancient Ganga Ghats in Haridwar, situated 1.4 km away from Har Ki Pauri. This ghat is named after Lord Bhairav, who is a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva. Particularly in this ghat, visitors will encounter the presence of Aghori ascetics, often seen doing penance. Additionally, there is a small akhara near the ghat where one can seek Aghori blessings.
