As per the local belief, Chalda Maharaj Ji is the protector of entire Jaunsar Bawar and Himachal Pradesh, hence he holds a place in every temple here. In the year 2022, Chalda Maharaj ji migrated from Samalta to Dasau after 67 years, then in the year 2026, he will migrate to Himachal and then to Uttarakhand, continuing this tradition for years.
