Yog Nagari Rishikesh Railway Station (YNRK) is a terminal station that connects with a branch line of Haridwar Railway Junction. Located just 1 km away from Indramani Badoni Chowk, popularly known as Natraj Chowk, the station currently has limited rail connectivity. However, once the Rishikesh-Karnprayag railway line project is completed, it is likely to connect with more major rail routes. Currently, Kalinga Utkal Express, Ujjaini Express, Jammu Tawi Express and others operate here on daily or weekly basis.
Like Haridwar and Dehradun Railway Junction, this station also falls under the Moradabad Division. Opened in January 2021, Yog Nagari Rishikesh Railway Station features a single electrified line and equipped with all essential amenities. It is not the only station in the city, as there is another junction called Rishikesh Railway Station (RKSH) also serves the area.
