Tapt Kund is a hot water spring which extracts hot water from ‘Garur Shilla’. Tapt Kund is located between Badrinath temple and Alaknanda River. How to Reach

This tapt kund is 10-15 mr away from Badrinath temple and situated on National Highway-58. You can reach here by road by using various available means of road transport like bus and private taxi. Approximately it is around 290 km and 330 km away from Rishikesh and Dehradun respectively, takes you around 9 to 10 hr to reach the destination.

Best Time to Visit

This place is open throughout the year, but the ideal time to visit is during May to November. Due to heavy snowfall, visitors must avoid this place during late November to March.
