Haridwar is famous for its Ghats, where pilgrims come to partake in the ritual bathing. Among such ghats, one ghat is widely known, called Nai Ghat. As per its names, this ghat is famous for the mundan ceremony, which is located 2.4 km from Har ki Pauri. Although, there are other places in India which are famous for Mundan Ceremony like Tirupati Balaji, Rameswaram (Tamil Nadu), Dwarika Dham (Gujarat) and Gaya Ji (Bihar) but among them, Haridwar’s Nai Ghat is quite popular.
