K Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum

There are a number of tourist attractions in Queen of Hills, Mussoorie, but there is one spot that attracts the most visitors. The K Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum is said to be one of the underrated attractions in Mussoorie. Located just 2 km from Mussoorie Library Chowk, this museum is situated in the premises of well known Company Garden. Visitors can easily access the Museum by car, taxi, or rented two wheeler.

Inspired by the world renowned Madame Tussaud Wax Museum in London, it features 26 national and international wax figures. Among them Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, Michael Jackson, Adolf Hitler, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Charlie Chaplin, Amitabh Bachchan, Albert Einstein, Mr. Bean, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama.  Although the museum is situated just 2 km from mall road, it is not known by many.

Children often get excited after seeing their famous personalities. The Museum remain open throughout the week from 10 am to 5 pm. To access the museum, visitors need to purchase a ticket, which costs around Rs 100. Photography and videography are allowed in the museum but touching the installed figures is strictly prohibited.
