Best time to visit

The shrine opens along with the Badrinath temple and remains closed during winters. Devotees can visit the shrine during these months, but the best times to visit are from May to June and September to October. Pilgrims should avoid the monsoon season, as it may cause problems during the pilgrimage. As the shrine is located 6 km away from the last motorable points, pilgrims must be physically sound.
