One of the first amongst the Panch Badri Circuit, Adi Badri is situated in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. In ancient times, Lord Vishnu worshiped here when Badrinath was inaccessible during winters. How to reach

Located around 225 km from Dehradun, Adi Badri, one of the first amongst the Panch Badri Circuit, is situated in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Devotees can reach the shrine by road with bus, shared taxi and cabs service available from Dehradun and Rishikesh. The nearest railway station and airport to access the shrine are in Haridwar and Dehradun, situated approximately 209 km and 202 km away, respectively.

Best time to visit

The ideal time to visit the shrine is from March to June and September to December. It is advisable to avoid visiting during the monsoon season and peak winter periods.
