Sirmaur, located in the southern part of Himachal Pradesh, is quite famous for its captivating beauty. The Renuka temple, dedicated to the mother of Parshuram, is located here, holds a strong belief among devotees and attracts multitude of them each year. In the vicinity of Renuka lake, the authorities organize the Renuka fair in November, witnessing a large congregation of people. In the dense cedar forest, one can spot various animals such as leopards, jackals, Chital, Sambar, Barking Deer and other species. While the local dialect Sirmauri dominates here, Hindi, English and Punjabi are also commonly used for conversations.
