History of Sabir Piya
Piran Kaliyar is the dargah of Allauddin Ali Ahmed Sabir Kaliyari. He was born in Kohtwaal, a town in Multan (now in Pakistan), on 19 Rabi al-awwal, 592 Hijri (1196 CE). He was the son of Jamila Khatun, the elder sister of the famous Sufi saint Baba Fareed.
