Nanakmatta Gurudwara
Situated in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, the Nanakmatta Gurudwara is just an hour's drive away from Tanakpur. One of the major attractions near the Gurudwara is Nanak Sagar Dam, built on the Saryu River. It is believed that Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited the site in 1515 AD. After Hemkunt Sahib, Nanakmatta Gurudwara is considered the most significant Sikh pilgrimage site in Uttarakhand.
The Gurudwara complex provides a night stay facility for devotees. A free langar is organised daily by the Sikh communities. The first ray of the sun enhances the beauty of Gurudwara, which captivates visitors from afar. How to Reach
By Road: Nanakmatta Gurudwara is situated in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand, approximately 40 km away from Tanakpur Bus Stand. From there, it can be reached using a bus or by booking a taxi. To access the site, you must first reach Udham Singh Nagar, which is around 289 km away from Dehradun ISBT and is connected with a regular bus service.
By Rail: The nearest railway station is Tanakpur Railway Station, just 42 km away. It provides limited connectivity from Delhi and Haridwar Railway Station. From there, you can either hire a taxi or use local transportation to reach the Gurudwara.
By Air: - The nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport, which provides daily flights from Delhi. The airport is approximately 58 km away and can be reached using a bus or by booking a taxi.

The holy shrine can be accessed throughout the year; visiting between September and April would be an ideal season.
