From Landour's Char Dukan, it is just 1 km away, and many travellers prefer to walk this distance, enjoying the picturesque charm of Landour. Far from the commercialisation, Lal Tibba is perfect for those seeking peace and tranquillity. As the highest point, it also hosts Doordarshan and Radio towers. Lal Tibba Binoculars
At the Lal Tibba scenic point, binoculars were installed by the local administration in 1967. This Japanese telescope provides a clear and closer view of the Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, and Bandarpoonch peaks. There is an entry fee of Rs 50 to use these binoculars. However, if you order food from the Lal Tibba cafe, you won't be charged this fee.
Lal Tibba Cafe
This point is also known for Lal Tibba Cafe, which offers quick snacks to visitors. The cafe has limited space for seating, which can become crowded, especially on weekends. The cafe menu is limited and offers general food items.
Lal Tibba Trek
Lal Tibba is around 3 km from the Landour Clock Tower. The trail to Lal Tibba is well paved but narrow. To experience the enchanting natural beauty, many travellers choose to hike instead of driving. Along the trail, there are several stalls selling handicrafts, woollens, and art and craft items. As you walk, you will come across the residence of renowned writer Ruskin Bond. After walking a few meters, you will reach the iconic Char Dukan. It's a hotspot where travellers can have tea, coffee and other items. From Char Dukan, Lal Tibba is around 1,000 meters away. During the trek, you can spot various birds, as Landour is home to a variety of bird species.
Parking Fee
Roadside parking is available near the Lal Tibba Scenic Point, where visitors can park both four-wheelers and two-wheelers. The parking is Rs 80 for four-wheelers and Rs 40 for two-wheelers.

Lal Tibba distance from the Landour clock tower is around 3 km. Mostly, visitors cover this distance on foot by enjoying the picturesque landscape. It takes around 30 to 40 minutes to cover this distance on foot, but usually it takes more because the surrounding landscape captivates you to click its pictures. It can also be reached by taxi or two-wheelers from Mussoorie and Landour.
By Road: - Lal Tibba distance from Mussoorie is 3.4 km, and from Dehradun it is 33 km away. From Mussoorie, you can reach Lal Tibba by taxi or a rental two-wheeler. Dehradun Hill Bus Stand offers regular buses to Mussoorie, or they can hire a taxi directly from their respective places. Bus services are available up to the Mussoorie bus stand, and from there, you can continue your journey by taxi or two-wheelers.
