Corbett Heritage Safari Zone
Known as Corbett Heritage Safari Zone, the Kaladhungi Safari zone is located just 23 km from Haldwani and is situated near to Corbett Museum. A total of 30 gypsies are allowed daily for both morning and evening safaris. Like the Sitabani Eco Tourism Zone and Kota Tourism Zone, this safari Zone also falls under the Ramnagar Forest Division.
Two Zone
Unlike others, this safari area consists of two zones that not only provide jungle safari but also hiking and camping facilities. The Kaladhungi Safari Zone is primarily divided into two zones vis Zone 1 and Zone 2.
Zone 1 provides jungle safari, where visitors can witness a wide range of indigenous mammals and birds species. It also comprises the heritage village of Jim Corbett, known as Chhoti Haldwani, which was owned by Sir Edward, fondly regarded as Carpet Sahib.
Zone 2 takes your adventure to the next level, with opportunities like nature walk, hiking and camping. Experienced nature guides in the region enrich your safari experience by providing valuable insights throughout the ride.
Zone 2 is particularly known for its rich biodiversity, spans from Kaladhungi to Pawalgarh Forest Rest House. Being part of the Corbett landscapes, this untouched wilderness in the Ramnagar region is surrounded by dense forest, sal forest, and grasslands, which are home to several wildlife.
Safari Timing
- Kaladhungi Heritage Safari consists of two zones. Of the two, Zone 1 is for Jungle Safari, while zone 2 is for sight seeing the prominent spot near the area; such as : -

Safari Charges
Kaladhungi Jungle Safari required an advance safari booking from the visitors. Interested visitors can book their safari either online or by visiting the site directly. Maximum 6 people can accompany a safari ride, which costs between Rs 6,000 to Rs 7,500/-. Apart from this, if visitors are interested to visit the area in Zone 2 (Corbett Museum, Corbett Falls, and others) need to pay its entry fee separately.

- Prior registration is required for the Jungle Safari.

- The Safari Zone is home to various wild animals, children below 12 years of age are not eligible for the safari.
- Carry enough cash during the journey, as mobile network connectivity in the area is limited.

- Getting down from the vehicle during the safari is strictly prohibited.
