Garud Chatti Waterfall is another major tourist attraction located in Rishikesh. Owing to its serene surroundings and adventurous trekking trail, it attracts several tourists, mainly youngsters. The waterfall is around 4 km from Ram Jhula, with a trekking trail of around 1.5 km. The trail is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, as the site falls under the Rajaji National Park. Although it's not as huge as the other two, it still attracts visitors due to its location and the calm atmosphere it offers. When water cascades down from seven different points and converges at the centre, forms a natural pool where visitors can enjoy a refreshing dip.

Located on Neelkanth Temple Road, the Garud Chatti waterfall is approximately 10 km from the city and is easily accessible. Visitors travelling by two-wheeler must choose the Janki Setu or Laxman Jhula route, which connects near the Garud Chatti Temple. After covering a few more distances, you can easily locate the starting point ofthe Garud Chatti Waterfall Trek. Since the site does not offer dedicated parking, vehicles are usually parked along the roadside.
After parking safely, you can start trekking to the main site. During peak summer, the region is quite dry, with limited greenery. However, in the rainy season, the area is filled with lush green views. However, visiting during the monsoon can be challenging due to slippery trails and safety reasons. Visitors are advised to carry a water bottle and light snacks, as food stalls are not available along the route or at the main site.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is Yog Nagri Rishikesh Railway Station, approximately 12 km away from the main site. From the station, visitors can hire a taxi or use a rent a two-wheeler.
By Air: The closest airport is Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport, which is around 27 km from the waterfall. Taxis are readily available from the airport to reach the destination.
