Located approximately 36 km from Rishikesh in Badrinath Highway, Kaudiyala is primarily known for its thrilling adventurous activities. The 18 km rafting stretch from Kaudiyala to Shivpuri is so popular among rafting enthusiasts. It's rapid like Three Blind Mice, The Wall and Crossfire are the most challenging and popular rapids in the region.

Kaudiyala Rishikesh

Situated an hour's drive away from the hustle and bustle of Rishikesh, Kaudiyala falls under the territory of the Tehri Garhwal district. Devprayag, where the sacred Ganga originates from the holy confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, is just 30 km from Kaudiyala.
 

Due to its remote location, public transport facilities are limited and are restricted to shared taxis and cabs. However, buses are also available for those familiar with the region. Kaudiyala is a small village whose scenic natural beauty and serene atmosphere are hard to find elsewhere.

Kaudiyala Beach

Kaudiyala Beach is one of the most scenic spots in the region. The route to the beach passes through the Singtali Suspension Bridge, which is one of the historic bridges constructed over the River Ganges. The beauty of this place is evident from the fact that it is widely used for pre-wedding photoshoots.
 

Walking across the Singtali bridge produces the gorgeous views of the Kaudiyala and its surroundings that make visitors instantly fall in love with the place. Although the path leading to the bridge is narrow and is not properly paved, the destination is worthwhile.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is Yog Nagri Rishikesh Railway Station, situated around 39 km away. To reach the destination, you can hire a taxi either from the station or from the city bus stand.
 

By Air: The closest airport is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, situated approximately 54 km away. From there, visitors can book a cab to reach the destination directly or travel up to Rishikesh for a shared taxi.
