How to Reach

By Road : - Ram ghat is located just 1.5 km from Haridwar Bus Stand and can be accessed easily by Auto and E-Rickshaw from the bus stand. Haridwar is the main transit point to reach the ghat, which is well connected by motorable roads to major locations such as Dehradun, Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Agra. Regular bus services are easily available from these locations to Haridwar.
 

By Rail : - Haridwar railway station is around 2 km from the Ghat and is well connected to major rail head across the country. Local transport services are easily from the station to reach the ghat.
 

By Air : - The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, approximately 38 km away. It provides good connectivity to major cities across the country. Visitors need to hire a taxi from the airport to reach the ghat.

Best Time to Visit

People often visit here during their pilgrimage to Haridwar. Generally, the ideal time to visit is from September to March because during summer you may experience severe heat waves and heavy rain during monsoon. Whereas, one may also experience a huge influx during Special Occasions like Basant Panchmi, Mauni Amavasya, and during other Shahi Snan.
