How to Register for Chardham Using Whatsapp

Char Dham Yatra Registration

• The much awaited, Char Dham Yatra and Hemkund Sahib Registration process has started. Devotees must register online before their pilgrimage as it is mandatory for all. Uttarakhand Char Dham yatra registration can be done online or through whatsapp. The detailed procedure to register for Char Dham Yatra and Hemkund Sahib via whatsapp is given below.

Registration process through Whatsapp

• Step 1: Save The number

  To register through whatsapp, the user needs to save the "8394833833" number on their device.

• Step 2: Open the Chat Screen

  Open the Chat screen of the saved number.

• Step 3: Type Yatra
  • Now type "Yatra" and send it.
  • After sending the text you will receive an auto generated Welcome Message, mentioning that if you wish to restart the procedure or want to move to the main page then type "Yatra" and send.

• Step 4: Select the Option

  Now press the 'Select' tab and select the 'Char Dham Registration' button and send.

• Step 5: Select the Option
  • After sending the message a message pops up as 'Do you want to register for Char Dham'.
  • Select the 'Yes' option and send it.

• Step 6: Enter Number of tourist

  Upon selection it will ask you to select the number of tourists (Remember maximum 5 tourists can be added from one number).

• Step 7: Mode of Pilgrimage
  • In the next step, users need to select the mode of traveling they will use during their pilgrimage. The mode of travel could be
    • By Road
    • Helicopter
    • Walking
• Step 8: Enter Date
  • In the next step, you have to enter the date of travel for each respective dham.
  • It's mandatory to maintain a two day gap between visits to two dhams.
  • Whereas, if you are not visiting any of the dhams, please type 'NA' instead of a date.
• Step 9: Enter Number of tourist
  • Post date selection, user need to enter some of its details like:-
    • Name
    • Age
    • Sex
• Step 10: Select Country
  • In the next step, select the country.
  • Those who are from India select 'India', whereas people from other countries select 'other' from the option.

• Step 11: Enter Aadhaar Number

  Users who have selected India as their country need to enter their Aadhaar number.

• Step 12: Enter State and Country Code

  Now, you need to enter the number of your state from the list given. Whereas, those who have selected others as a country need to enter their country code from the given list.

• Step 13: Enter State, City and Address
  • After this, user need to enter their District name (if available) otherwise type 'NA'.
  • Your City Name
  • Address as mentioned in the IDs.
• Step 14: Emergency Contact Details
  • In the next step, the user needs to add an emergency contact person detail who is not traveling with them.
  • For this, user need to enter person details such as: -
    • Name
    • Mobile number, and
    • Relation with person.
• Step 15: Enter Medical Details
  • Next, user need to submit their medical condition.
  • If you are a cardiac patient (Type 'Yes' or 'No' in response)
  • If you are a Asthmatic patient (Type 'Yes' or 'No' in response)
  • If you are a Diabetic patient (Type 'Yes' or 'No' in response)
  • If the user has any serious illness then type the same otherwise type 'NA' and send.
  • For more information, visitors must read the health advisory issued by the department.

• Step 16: Upload Photo

  In the next step, the user needs to upload their latest (three months old) photograph from their device.

• Step 17: Mode of traveling
  • Once your picture is uploaded successfully, you will be asked to select the mode of traveling.
  • Enter the number of vehicle (if any) otherwise enter NA and send.

• Step 18: Confirm Registration

  Now confirm your registration with the shared details and select 'Yes' from the option.

• Step 19: Add Pilgrims
  • After confirmation, the system will ask you if you would like to add more pilgrims.
  • If so, select 'Yes' and repeat the procedure starting from entering the pilgrim name. Otherwise, select 'No' and proceed to send it.
• Step 20: Registration Completed
  • After successful registration, passengers can download their 'Traveller Certificate' from the website.
  • For this, they have to enter their registration number and mobile number.
